Salsa Bowls
Is this a great way to serve salsa! The unique shape of a Jalapeño pepper really makes a great presentation. And the accompanying spoon gives even more "flavor". Of course you can choose most anything to serve in this pewter serving bowl. For instance, guacamole, nuts, or a topping for an outstanding salad placed in one of our pewter serving bowls and using our beautifully embellished polished pewter salad spoons and forks. Then again, what a great present for thanking the host for dinner. Some companies have purchased the salsa bowls and spoons as holiday gifts for the board members. They put a jar of their favorite salsa inside the bowl, put the spoon to the side of the salsa, and wrap all of it in cellophane paper with a bow for a wonderful gift.
Each piece of our pewter pieces is cast with a particular hand made mold, resulting in a unique work of art. All takes shape magically in the hands of the proud Mexican artisans. The process is 100% hand made, except for the final polishing. Mexican pewter is made with a lead free alloy of Tin or Aluminum, Copper and Antimony; this makes it safe for food and drink, however it is not recommended for cooking.
