Hello and thank you for visiting Elegant Beading!  My name is Anna Ingram and, among other things, I am an artist.  I started embellishing polished pewter in early 2006 after taking a beading class.  I made some pieces for our home and some for gifts.  When my friends and relatives gave such rave reviews I decided to produce and sell them.

I was introduced to Deneke's Hope Foundation, www.ethiopianhope.org, at about the same time.  I was struck by how very much in need are the people of Ethiopia.  These are things that I just take for granted....clean water, good health care, good food, decent housing, etc.

So, what better way to, 1) support the artisans in Mexico, 2) express my artistic ability, 3) provide very nice, functional art, and, 4) support the Ethiopian people.

I hope you enjoy either using/displaying my pieces or giving them as gifts!
